Classic VW Beetle 1964 1200cc 6V Java Green in York, North Yorkshire for sale

The car had been in dry storage in pieces for 20 years before being discovered, restored and put back together. The restoration was completed by the founder and previous owner of The Herby Hospital garage (in Leeds) in 2013 and I purchased the vehicle on its completion. The car is in very good condition, solid and sound. It was sprayed in the original Java Green colour and apart from the carpets, the interior is original. It is still on the 6 volt system. It has front and rear seat belts that we had installed so the kids could ride in it safely. It was undersealed in October 2014 during its MOT (which it passed no problem). During the restoration 1 new heater channel and a new fuel tank were fitted. Heaters work well. The bodywork is very sound although there are some cosmetic paintwork faults like a few bubbles on the bonnet and the odd paint chip etc but this is reflected in the price. I would recommend viewing the car - if you are serious about buying a classic Beetle in good condiction I do not think this one will disappoint. We are selling as we have lost our access to indoor storage and would like the car to have a warm, dry home to keep it in great condition.
